Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives have filed legislation to rename Washington, D.C.’s Dulles International Airport after former President Donald J. Trump.
The bill, filed by Congressman and Chief Deputy Whip Guy Reschenthaler (R-PA), would rename the facility the Trump International Airport. The bill was co-sponsored by Reps. Michael Waltz (R-FL), Angy Ogles (R-TN), Chuck Fleischmann (R-TN), Paul Gosar (R-AZ), Barry Moore (R-AL), and Troy Nehls (R-TX).
In my lifetime, our nation has never been greater than under the leadership of President Donald J. Trump,” Reschenthaler said in a statement to Fox News. “As millions of domestic and international travelers fly through the airport, there is no better symbol of freedom, prosperity and strength than hearing ‘Welcome to Trump International Airport’ as they land on American soil.”
